The Toronto Maple Leafs notched their first Stanley Cup win in 1917-18—the season of their debut in the National Hockey League. Known originally as the Arenas and later the St. Patricks, The Leafs changed to their now-famous monicker and the blue-and-white uniform 75 years ago, in the winter of 1927.

The Picture Postage on this commemorative envelope was issued for the 75th anniversary of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
